Kathmandu, Feb 1: Minister for Finance Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat said that the role played by the export entrepreneurs is significant in enhancing the economy, creating employment opportunities, increasing revenue and promoting sustainable development. 

Addressing the fourth anniversary of the Federation of the Export Entrepreneurs Nepal (FEEN), Finance Minister Dr Mahat, said that the export business needs to be developed as the backbone of the country’s economy. 

Praising the role of the FEEN, he said, “There is a dedication and relentless efforts of all business entrepreneurs, to expand the demand of the Nepalese production in the world market and  expand the capacity of our export.”

Mentioning that all the questions that are being raised by the FEEN are justified, he said, “The demand cannot be addressed urgently because of the lack of the financial resources of the country even if the government wants and is committed to providing vantage in export.”
