Kathmandu, Feb 20: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ has made it clear that the appointing of the Vice-Chancellor of the Tribhuvan University is in progress. 

In the meeting with the officials of the Gorkha Journalist Society Nepal today at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar, the PM said, “The appointment of the Vice-Chancellor of TU is in process. There is no truth in the information about the appointing of VC that is being dispersed in social media.”

Stressing that the journalistic world should believe in truthful and reliable information, he urged the denizens to not form any opinion based on hoax information. 

Remembering that he got elected from Ghorkha, he said that attention has been paid to the overall development of the district. 

The PM said, “The process of resuming the factories and industries that have been shut down for a long time such as Gorakhkali Rubber Industry (GRUL), has progressed.”
