Kathmandu, May 28: The government has come up with policy to discourage foreign visits of the government officials so as to minimize unnecessary expenses.

Permission for foreign visits of the government officials will be granted only in case of essential visits, said Finance Minister Barsha Man Pun while presenting the annual estimate of income and expenditure for the upcoming fiscal year of 2081/82 BS (2024/25) at the joint meeting of the federal parliament today.
