Kathmandu, Sept.18: CPN (UML) General Secretary Shankar Pokhrel said that there needs to be a strong connection between citizens and the nation in the democracy.
Addressing the program organized by the CPN-UML Publicity and Publication Department to congratulate the newly elected officers and members of the Association of Community Radio Broadcasters Nepal (ACORAB), Pokhrel said that the nation will weaken if the relationship between denizens and the nation deteriorates.
He said that a weak nation cannot lead the protection, development, and prosperity of the nation and its nations.
Pokhrel said, “The country will not develop until and unless the state becomes strong. There needs to be a close relationship between the nation and its citizens in the democracy.”
He said that the resources of the community will not be strong unless the nation becomes strong.
Pokhrel said that the more prosperity, business, trade, and entrepreneurship increase in the country, the more media will flourish.
He said that when the nation and nation get connected, only then development, entrepreneurship, and business will increase.
He emphasized that the media needs to pay attention to the fact that a nation does not become one by creating a gap between people.
He stressed the need to pay the way for the future by understanding the need of the hour.
