Kathmandu, Sept 29: Nepali Congress, a major partner in the ruling coalition, has decided to provide Rs. 5 million for the victims of the rain-induced disaster.
The party will transfer the amount to the government fund for the purpose, according to the decision of the meeting of the NC central work execution committee held today at the party’s president’s residence in Budhanilakantha.
The amount will be managed by collecting remuneration of 15 days the members of the federal parliament from the NC, according to the press statement released after the meeting.
