Former province minister arrested on charge of human trafficking

Biratnagar, Nov 10: Former Minister for Internal Affairs and Law of Koshi Province Leele Ballav Adhikari has been arrested.

Adhikari was arrested after taking permission from the court on Sunday.

The former minister was accused of trying to smuggle people to Japan by misusing his ministerial position.

Police have arrested former minister Adhikari from his residence.

On the leadership of Morang SP Narayan Chimoria and a Police team deployed from Kathmandu arrested the former minister.

Adhikari will be sent to Kathmandu.
