Chitwan, Dec.20: The Naubise-Muglin section of the Prithvi Highway along the Prithvi Highway will be partially closed for a week starting from December 22.
The road will be closed for three hours a day from December 22 until December 28, as the rock wall of Pokhrebhir and Bishaltar of that road section has to be cut and upgraded in a bend.
According to the Divisional Engineer of the western section of the Nagdhunga –Mugling road project Bijay Rai, the construction work is being started from 11 AM till 2 PM by stopping the commute of vehicles.
He said that heavy vehicles entering Gajuri from Naubise will be stopped at Galchi-Baireni and light vehicles will be stopped at Jarekhet.
He said that emergency vehicles, ambulances, and vehicles of security agencies will be allowed to pass through during this period.
